This Special Committee was established in the House on November 3, 2022 per requirements in the Legislative Assembly’s Guiding Principles and Process Conventions. The Committee’s purpose is to make recommendations to the next Legislative Assembly on the transition process and the political structure of the 20th Legislative Assembly.

The Special Committee will release a report in the final sitting of the 19th Assembly, occurring in August 2023.
