Public Hearing on Use of Official Languages in the Legislative Assembly

The Standing Committee on Rules and Procedures, chaired by Mr. Kevin O’Reilly, will hold a public hearing on Members’ use of Official Languages in the Assembly on Tuesday, November 17th at 7:00PM.  This hearing will be simultaneously interpreted into Tłı̨chǫ and French. It will also be streamed live on the Assembly’s Facebook, Twitter and YouTube accounts and broadcast on our television system.

People wishing to make a submission are requested to contact the Committee Clerk by November 17, 2020.  People making a submission will appear by video conference and are asked to identify any interpretation requirements to the Clerk when they contact the Committee Clerk. Only registered witnesses will be able to connect via video conference.  The Committee will continue to accept written submissions until 5:00 PM on Wednesday, November 18, 2020.
