On Monday, June 7, 2021, at 7 PM, the Standing Committee on Government Operations, chaired by Frieda Martselos, will hold a public hearing in Inuvik to talk to residents about the Official Languages Act. The meeting will take place in the Community Hall (Midnight Sun Complex) and COVID-19 precautions will be in place.

It is within the Act’s legislation that it must be reviewed by the Legislative Assembly or a Committee of the Legislative Assembly every five years.
