Thursday, June 30, 2022 at 7:00PM

For those wishing to speak to the Committee at the hearing, it is recommended to contact Committees@ntassembly.ca to register in advance.

Members of the media are also welcome to attend. The meeting will also be broadcast live and can be viewed by tuning in to the LATV network, watching on ntassembly.ca, or by watching on the Assembly’s Facebook, YouTube or Twitter channels.

The topic of housing in the NWT and homelessness prevention is being examined because the Committee agreed upon the issue as its priority for the remainder of the 19th Assembly.

Through this public engagement, the Standing Committee on Social Development will make recommendations about homelessness prevention to the Government of the Northwest Territories in the Fall 2022 Session of the Legislative Assembly of the Northwest Territories.
