YELLOWKNIFE (April 30, 2021) – The Northwest Territories Legislative Assembly Board of Management has issued the following statement:
The Board of Management has approved an amendment to the Terms of Reference for the ongoing third-party workplace review of the Legislative Assembly’s Office of the Clerk.
The amendment is as follows:
“Quintet [Consulting Corporation] is authorized to identify and invite “knowledgeable individuals” to participate in the Review of the work environment of the Office of the Clerk. This would include individuals with direct knowledge of the work environment within the Office of the Clerk or those having relevant information or documents relating to the work environment during the 19th Legislative Assembly. Reportedly unresolved historical conflicts may be examined to the extent they continue to have a reported impact on the current work environment of the Office of the Clerk. As is the case for other participants in the Review, these knowledgeable individuals would be able to speak confidentially.”
The updated Terms of Reference for the workplace review are attached to this release.
